Our skin is the largest reciprocal surface of our body. The clothes we wear become a landscape filtering our surrounding. In 2007 I began a daily practice of dressmaking through which I approach the very basic daily act of getting dressed as a performance practice. This practice manifested in several videos and live performance works and is to this day a daily practice. Que sal mah (2015) is a concept boutique offering bespoke dressmaking sessions for womxn and one-to-one performance experiences. I founded the service basing it on this intimate daily practice of knot-dressmaking, a technique developed over a span of a decade. These fashion performances culminate in a dress made with and for the recipient. More about the studio and practice could be found on the Que sal mah website: www.Quesalmah.com
